I’ve never bothered to watch any of the HANGOVER films. None of those guys seem particularly funny, and Todd Phillips hasn’t made a decent film since ever. But Christophe Beck is a good composer, and made a splash composing for the Buffy TV series. This album is a compilation of themes and cues from the trilogy.

They’re okay pieces, some fun surf rock, others throwing in a bit of cheesy melody. But it doesn’t really feel like a whole, and because I have no knowledge of the films I had trouble reconciling with the music here. I can’t really dock it points for being bad music, because it isn’t. But I didn’t enjoy it.
